This program is for you if:

  • You're experiencing burnout or stress and want to make a positive change
  • You’re vulnerable to burnout because you have a tendency to overwork yourself, have difficulty saying no, or can’t seem to maintain consistent self-care
  • You want to be able to serve others without draining yourself
  • You’re having difficulty practicing self-care because of feelings of guilt
  • You feel like you’re sacrificing your own life and health to help others
  • You’re confused about why you feel so drained at the end of the day even though you have a passion for your work

What You'll Learn and Experience

This in-depth online program consists of 8 modules of recorded video lessons you can watch on your own, and 4 live office hours calls. Self-care reflections and assignments will be given in each module, and you’ll be able to join a support a positive community of other helping professionals who are all working on their self-care.

Module 4:  Exploring and Redefining Your Self-Care Values

(The origin of your self-care values, How to deal with guilt around self-care, Self-Care and Guilt, Redefining your self-care values, Your parameters for success)

Module 5: Self-Care at Work

( Managing your workload and professional role, Your self at work, Setting boundaries at work, Caring for your work environment, Compassion as a self-care practice, Vicarious resilience)

Module 6: Self-Care at Home

(Self-care for your body, Self-care for your mind and emotions, Self-care and relationships, Self-care for your time and space, Self-compassion)

Module 7: Restorative Self-Care

(Energy management, Creativity as self-care, Forgiveness, Acceptance and Letting go, Practicing gratitude, Meditation)

Ami Kunimura, MA, MT-BC is a board-certified music therapist, self-care coach, and author of Resilience Over Burnout: A Self-Care Guide for Music Therapists.

Ami is the founder of HarmonyResource.com, a website providing resources on music therapy, mental health care, and self-care. Ami provides self-care coaching and programs to helping professionals experiencing burnout.

Ami has been practicing music therapy since 2006, specializing in mental health and addictions treatment, and currently runs a private practice in the South Bay of Los Angeles.
